Warm Weather Packaging includes foil bubble wrap and gel ice which can help protect chocolate for 2+ days in warm weather. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR SHIPPING CHOCOLATE: During the warm months (which is most months in Hawaii and especially May through September on the Mainland) temperatures in much of the country exceed 80 degrees and in many places can be over 100 degrees. We strongly recommend using "Warm Weather Packaging" when you order chocolate to most U.S. destinations. Warm Weather Packaging includes foil bubble wrap and gel ice that can help protect chocolate for about 2 days in warm weather. However, there are times when weather in Hawaii, at the destination, or en route may exceed the protective packaging’s capacity and cause damage to chocolate. Waialua Estate reserves the right to delay shipment if we feel the order may be damaged due to weather and will contact you if necessary. In addition, we strongly suggest using a business address to receive shipments of chocolate or arranging for someone to receive the shipment in person to avoid weather damage or loss from being left outside unattended. Waialua Estate cannot accept responsibility for damage to product when conditions exceed packaging capacity, if the “Warm Weather Packaging” option is not selected, or if someone is not present at the time of delivery and damage or loss occurs as a result.
